Hi, I am HolyCow (Aka Daron). I am majoring in Information Systems Security. I have an Associate Degree of Computer Science, and currently working on a Bachelor Degree of Science. I also have taken CCNA Training. Everything reguarding linux in my knowledge is self taught. I like to setup dummy boxes (200MHz Linux boxes) and Experiment. I have used RedHat, Fedora, Gentoo (Stage 1), FreeBSD, CentOS.

The name HolyCow got stuck to me back in the days of StarCraft in a clan known as DarkHordes. In these days I was just into the online gaming. I couldnt pick a name and stay with it going by names like Alcatraz. Then one day I made the name HolyCow as a joke on BattleNET. Well everyone liked it I kinda stuck with it. Anyways in Dark Hordes I met some great people, IceDog, th3R0b0t, and some others I cant recall now.
After StarCraft got boring we moved into Half-Life, Team Fortress Classic, Counter-Strike Beta 7. All Won days! WONID 316604 w00t! (is that sad i still remember that off the top of my head?) Then we had the dreaded STEAM take over! AHHHHH But before the steam take over.
We started into online Radios. My history started back in Infinity Radio #iRadio (GamesNET). Thats were I met DJ Rave, he rocked as a prank dj. Then as Infinity Radio died down, I made Rebel Radio with Venny. That didnt last to long, one of our djs took listeners and made HGR (Head Game Radio). After that i watched as CKR (Cyber Kast Radio) became popular. Thats where I got recruited to do that bot / help with servers with my friends HellFire, and Summo. Ic3x the founder didnt like me to much and I eventually got fired. Summo went on to do pranks with CKR till Ic3x tried to take over when Hellfire owned half the radio. So we formed VR (Virtual Radio), We had no idea there was a real Virtual Radio, untill they contacted us about legal problems with us using their name. (Ic3x tipped them off because he was losing listeners to us.) So we changed to VBR (Virtual Broadcasting Radio) They didnt have a problem with that one, go figure. Eventually GamesNET banned radios and made it a requirement to get approval and no pranks allowed, eventually this killed the radios. Eventually GamesNET moved to GameSurge and gave back the GamesNET domain to the original owner. *Sigh*.
In the middle of all this radio junk I eventually met my friend Eternal (Tim). Tim at the time was working with DR (Dream Radio). We currently share a box that runs this site. Eternal got me into many other games, Battlefield 1942, and its mod Desert Combat. Then BattleField2 came out and we both got it and played on the GameSpy servers. We mainly played on these servers because we are GameSpy [MON]'s (Monitors). A team of volunteers that monitor GameSpy servers and make sure the game play is fair.
